Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What types of wax are these candle wicks compatible with?
A: These multi-ply cotton wicks are compatible with a wide range of wax types, including soy wax, beeswax, paraffin wax, coconut wax, and most blended candle wax formulas. They are pre-waxed to make them stiff and easy to handle during setup.
Q: How do the wooden wick centering holders work?
A: The wooden wick holders feature a slot in the center. After securing your wick to the bottom of the container with a wick sticker, simply rest the wooden holder across the top rim of your candle jar and thread the wick through the center slot. This keeps the wick perfectly upright and centered while the wax cools and solidifies. The holders are reusable — just wipe clean after each use.
Q: How many candles can I make with this kit?
A: This kit contains 50 wicks, 100 sticker tabs (2 per wick for extra security or spares), and 5 reusable wooden holders, giving you enough supplies to make up to 50 candles. The wooden holders can be reused indefinitely across multiple batching sessions.
Q: Are the wick stickers strong enough to hold during pouring?
A: Yes! The self-adhesive wick stickers are designed with a strong heat-resistant adhesive that firmly anchors the wick tab to glass, tin, ceramic, and most plastic containers — even when hot wax is poured in.
