How to Use Your Mini Handheld Sewing Machine
- Hold the Machine: Support the base with four fingers of your right hand; rest your thumb on the top cover for a steady grip.
- Thread the Machine: Pull thread from the spool through the thread guide loop. Use the threader to pass thread through the needle eye, leaving 2–3 cm of tail. Secure under the presser plate.
- Place Your Fabric: Lift the presser plate, slide fabric (up to 0.8 mm thick) underneath, then lower the plate to hold it in position.
- Start Sewing: Press the top cover down rhythmically with your thumb — the fabric feed mechanism will advance the fabric automatically. Guide the sewn fabric to the left with your left hand as you move the machine to the right.
- Finish & Secure: Cut the thread, remove the fabric, pull the thread end through an adjacent loop on the reverse side, and tie a knot to lock stitches in place.
- Adjust Stitch Tension: Turn the pressure nut counter-clockwise to loosen stitches; clockwise to tighten. Adjust fabric pull speed to control stitch density.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is this portable handheld sewing machine battery-powered or electric?
A: No — this mini sewing machine is entirely manual and requires no electricity or batteries. It is operated by pressing the top cover with your thumb, making it perfect for travel, outdoor use, or anywhere without access to power.
Q: What types of fabric can this handheld sewing machine handle?
A: This portable mini sewing machine is designed for fabrics up to 0.8 mm in thickness. It works well with lightweight to medium-weight fabrics such as cotton, linen, and synthetic blends. Very thick or heavy materials like denim or leather are not recommended.
Q: What kind of thread should I use with this mini stitch tool?
A: Cotton thread or synthetic thread is recommended for the best stitching results. Both standard-size and large spools are compatible — use the included extension rod and plastic cap to fit larger spools onto the spool shaft.
Q: How do I adjust the stitch tightness on this handheld sewing machine?
A: Turn the pressure nut counter-clockwise slightly to loosen stitches that are too tight, or clockwise to tighten stitches that are too loose. You can also control stitch density by adjusting how quickly you pull the fabric through with your left hand — faster for larger stitches, slower for denser stitches.
